Help; Wedding on a budget

Hi I know what you mean, this is my three's a charm weddind..mom paid for the 1st one when I was young and the second one was a backyard/barefoot and pregnant wedding...Now this is (sadly) what I feel is finally the right one. We are trying to do this on a budget as well. I would rather put my money into a real honeymoon!! Mine is set for July 09. I have already started contacting caterers and places- halls to rent, like from your city or county, I am comparing these prices to the hotels that include the food and the ballroom. So far the catering with the hall venue rental seems to be cheaper.I found a city owned renal on the beach for $275.00 from 8am to 1am. One hotel wanted a $20,000 minimun total for the ball room rental. Plus the hotel was very pricey on the menu but not a lot of choices either. My eyes about popped out of my head looking at the prices. Also talk to alot of your friends at work or whatever, I found a photographer for free thru a friend, he knows I am on a budget an offered to do it just to be able to come to the reception as well..I also have gone on a lot of web sites that sell bulk things for parties like wedding favors.
